Overview

Company settings control how your platform behaves for customers and staff. These settings affect everything from how long baskets are held, to whether customers can check out as guests, to how prices display tax, to what emails get sent after a purchase. Settings are managed in the admin area under Settings, which is organised into tabs:
  • Company Details — business name, contact information, billing details, and shop alias
  • General Settings — basket, checkout, transfer, notification, and listing behaviour
  • Payment Settings — payment gateways and manual/invoice payment configuration
  • Pricing Settings — tax display, tax input, and tax calculation method (requires the advanced tax controls feature)
Additional settings tabs appear depending on your enabled features and integrations, such as Feature Settings, Order Modification, and integration-specific configuration.

Basket and Checkout Behaviour

These settings are found under Settings > General Settings. They control how baskets work and how customers move through checkout.

Basket Timeout and Size

SettingDescription
Basket timeout (in minutes)How long items are held in a customer’s basket before expiring. Accepts a value between 1 and 60 minutes.
Basket size limitOptionally override the maximum number of items allowed per basket in the shop. This limit is not enforced in box office.

Guest Checkout

SettingDescription
Enable shop guest checkoutWhen enabled, customers can complete a purchase without creating an account.
Enable guest user logoutAppears when shop guest checkout is enabled. When enabled, guest users are logged out when checkout completes or their basket expires. This is useful when guest checkout is used on a shared device.
Enable box office guest checkoutControls guest checkout behaviour in box office. Options are: Allow guest checkouts (full guest mode), Require customer name (name only, no email required), or Require customer name & email (links each order to a full customer record).

Global Basket

The Enable global basket setting controls whether customers can purchase items from multiple events in a single order.
  • Enabled — customers can add items from different events to the same basket and check out once.
  • Disabled — each basket is limited to a single event. The customer must complete their purchase before shopping for another event.
Global basket cannot be enabled when event-level tracking pixels are active. If that feature is enabled, the global basket toggle is locked to disabled, with the message: “Global basket cannot be turned on when tracking pixels are enabled.”

Forced Checkout

The Enable forced checkout setting prevents customers from navigating away from checkout once they have started.
  • Enabled — customers see a confirmation prompt if they attempt to leave checkout. If they confirm, their basket items are removed.
  • Disabled — customers can freely navigate away from checkout and return later (within the basket timeout).
Forced checkout cannot be enabled when global basket is enabled. The toggle is disabled with the tooltip: “Forced checkout is only available when global basket is disabled.”

Transfers and Sharing

These settings control how purchased items can be transferred between customers. They are found under Settings > General Settings in the Advanced settings section.
SettingEffect when enabledEffect when disabled
Allow transfer correctionsPurchasers can always transfer an item, even if someone else has already claimed ownership. Customers can amend transfers regardless of other sharing settings.Standard transfer rules apply — once claimed, an item cannot be re-transferred by the original purchaser.
Enable instant transfersTransferred items are processed and made accessible immediately. The recipient does not need to claim, complete their profile, or fill out data capture. Recipients still receive a notification but do not need to act on it.Transfers require the recipient to claim and complete any required profile steps before accessing the item.
Preserve barcodes on instant transferThe original barcode is preserved when an item is transferred, so the recipient uses the same barcode. Only available when instant transfers are enabled.Barcodes are regenerated when an item is transferred, giving the recipient a new barcode.
Only allow purchaser to transfer / share itemsOnly the original purchaser can transfer items. Once transferred to another person, that person cannot transfer it again.Any current holder of an item can transfer it onward.
Preserve barcodes on instant transfer is only available when Enable instant transfers is enabled. If instant transfers are disabled, the toggle is locked with the tooltip: “This option is only available when ‘Enable instant transfers’ is enabled.”
When barcodes are preserved on transfer, the original purchaser could still use the barcode to scan into an entry zone before the new recipient does, making it invalid for the recipient. A warning is displayed in the UI when this setting is enabled.

Pricing and Tax

Pricing settings are found under Settings > Pricing Settings. This tab is only visible if your account has the advanced tax controls or display pricing features enabled.

Price Input and Display

SettingOptionsDescription
Price inputPrices including taxes (default), Prices excluding taxesControls whether the prices you enter in admin already include tax or not.
Price displayPrices including taxes (default), Prices excluding taxesControls whether prices shown to customers in the shop include or exclude tax.
You cannot set price display to exclude taxes when the all-in pricing feature is enabled. Attempting to do so results in the validation message: “Cannot display prices excluding tax when the display pricing feature is enabled.” See All-In Pricing for details.

Tax Calculation Method

The Tax calculation setting determines how tax is calculated on order items:
OptionBehaviour
Use total priceTicket and fees are taxed as a single line item. Sales tax is calculated on the total price rather than on fees and base price individually.
Use fees and base price separatelyTicket and fees are taxed as separate line items. Sales tax is calculated on the fees and base price individually, which may result in minor rounding differences.
The setting page includes a visual illustration showing how each method affects a sample calculation, so you can see the impact before saving.

Manual / Invoice Payments

Manual payment settings allow you to offer invoice-based payments where customers receive payment instructions and pay outside the platform. These settings are found under Settings > Payment Settings. When manual payments are enabled, additional configuration options appear:
SettingDescription
Enable in Box OfficeAllow invoices to be sent from box office, with instructions and account details for manual payment.
Enable in ShopAllow customers to select invoice as a payment method during shop checkout.
Enable instant accessWhen enabled, customers receive access to tickets and downloadable items immediately upon completing their reservation, before paying their invoice. See Instant Access Orders.
Minimum order valueThe minimum order total required to unlock the invoice payment method. Applies to non-box-office checkouts only. This is a flat rate value regardless of order currency — no conversion is applied.
How many days is the default payment period? The number of days a customer has to pay their invoice. Can be adjusted per order in box office, but is fixed for shop orders.
Unpaid invoice titleThe title displayed on the invoice before payment is received.
Paid invoice titleThe title displayed on the invoice after payment is completed.
Payment instructionsInstructions shown to the customer explaining how to make their payment. This field is required when manual payments are enabled.
Show customer billing address on invoiceInclude the customer’s billing address on the generated invoice.
Show customer name and email address on invoiceInclude the customer’s name and email on the generated invoice.
When manual payments are enabled with global basket active, invoice payments are only available for orders containing a single event. A note in the UI suggests disabling global basket if you want to ensure all orders can use invoice payments.

Email and Notification Settings

Several settings control what confirmation and notification emails are sent. These are split across General Settings and Company Details.

Confirmation Emails

SettingDescription
Disable order and reservation confirmation emails in box officeStops the automatic order confirmation and reservation emails for box office checkouts. You can still manually send confirmation emails from order views or the event dashboard.
Disable order and reservation confirmation emails in shopStops the automatic order confirmation and reservation emails for shop checkouts. Manual sending is still available.
Disable tax receipt emailsStops tax receipt emails for orders in both shop and box office. Useful when tax receipts are issued outside the platform.

Enriched Emails

SettingDescription
Enable enriched purchase notificationsWhen notifications are enabled for an event, purchase notification emails include all customer addresses and data capture responses associated with the order.
Enable enriched order confirmation emailsOrder confirmation emails sent to customers include addresses and data capture responses associated with the order.

Per-Event Confirmation Emails

The Dispatch confirmation email per inventory source setting changes how confirmation emails are structured:
  • Enabled — items on an order are grouped by event, and a separate confirmation email is sent for each event. This allows event-specific custom text to be included in each email. For example, an order spanning 3 events results in 3 separate emails.
  • Disabled — a single confirmation email is sent per order, regardless of how many events are included.

Event Notifications

SettingLocationDescription
Send event creation notification emailCompany DetailsWhen enabled, recipients receive an email each time a new event is created within the company.
Event approval email(s)Company DetailsComma-separated email addresses that receive notifications when an event approval is requested. See Event Approvals.

Automatic Event Reminder Emails

When the automatic event reminder emails feature is enabled, you can configure the platform to automatically send reminder emails to all attendees a set time before each event starts. The time can be configured in hours, days, or weeks.
When automatic reminder emails are first enabled at the company level, any events that have already passed the configured reminder window are automatically excluded — they will not receive unexpected reminder emails.

Listing Page Display

Two settings in General Settings control what information appears on event listing blocks in the shop:
SettingDescription
Enable stock-based badges on event listing blocksDisplays out-of-stock and off-sale badges on event cards by performing real-time stock checks. This does not affect badges created by manual actions such as taking an event off-sale.
Enable listing price rangesDisplays price ranges on event cards in listing blocks. This does not affect price ranges shown on individual event pages.
Both listing page settings involve real-time calculations that may impact performance. A warning is shown in the UI when either is enabled. These settings are hidden when the company is in performance mode.

Upsell Wizard

The Enable upsell wizard setting replaces standard add-to-basket buttons with an item selection wizard that encourages customers to purchase non-ticket items such as products and donations alongside their tickets.

Localization

Localization settings are found under Settings > General Settings:
SettingDescription
Primary currencyThe default currency used across the platform. Available currencies are determined by your reseller’s configuration.
Fallback languageThe default language used when no other language is detected for the customer.
Default timezoneThe timezone used for event dates and times. Available timezones are determined by your reseller.
Date display settingControls how dates are formatted across the platform (e.g. DD/MM/YYYY vs MM/DD/YYYY).
Time display settingControls how times are formatted (e.g. 24-hour vs 12-hour).
Show timezone informationWhen enabled, timezone information is displayed across the shop on baskets, events, and orders.

Deferred Ticket Download

When the deferred ticket download feature is enabled, the Enable deferred download of tickets setting prevents customers from downloading tickets until a configured time before the event starts. The time window is configured in hours, days, or weeks.

Shop URL and Custom Domains

Under General Settings, you can configure:
  • Company alias — the subdomain used for your shop URL (e.g. your-alias.reseller-domain.com).
  • Custom URLs — when custom URLs are enabled for your account, you can add custom domains that point to your shop. Each custom URL can be assigned a default language for multi-language shops.
  • Redirect default URL — when custom URLs are in use, this controls whether the default subdomain URL redirects to your primary custom domain.

Company Details

The Company Details tab contains business identity and contact information:
  • Business name, email, phone, and website — displayed in the shop and on customer-facing communications.
  • Billing name, billing address, and sales tax number — used on invoices and financial documents. These fields are only editable when the edit billing details feature is enabled.

Setting Conflicts and Guardrails

Several settings have dependencies or mutual exclusions enforced by the platform:
ConflictBehaviour
Global basket + forced checkoutCannot both be enabled. Enabling global basket disables the forced checkout toggle.
Global basket + certain integrationsGlobal basket cannot be enabled when the Szamlazz or DTCM integration is active.
Preserve barcodes + instant transfersPreserve barcodes on transfer requires instant transfers to be enabled.
